History of the Rougham Estate with George Agnew

George Agnew, joint owner of the Rougham Estate, is giving two illustrated talks throwing a spotlight onto parts of the history of the Rougham Estate. Part One starts with the Romans, we then meet St Edmund and hear of the days of the abbey, of riots, the Drury family and the Reformation. In Part Two we encounter slavery, politics, enclosures, Roger Keddington, the Bennet family, newspapermen and art dealers. We finish with the early years of the Second World War and the bombing of Rougham Hall.
All proceeds goes to the Friends of Rougham Church
