Decorations and Lighting Shop 2008

The Christmas Decoration Shop at the Blackthorpe Barn now offers one of the widest ranges and best quality of decorations for the tree and home that can be found anywhere in East Anglia. The choice is almost endless, ranging from fresh holly and mistletoe, pine cones and wreaths of fir or holly, to tree decorations and lights, candles, a wide range of Christmas tree stands, crackers, wrapping paper and ribbon, paper napkins, nativity figures, tinsel, in fact almost everything that you could need to make your Christmas preparations complete.

Our Decoration and Lighting Shop was finally unveiled at 10am today. As people flowed in, there were gasps of amazement at the spectacular displays. For many people the opening of the Decoration Shop at Balckthorpe Barn marks the start of the build-up to Christmas and the sense of excitement around the shop could be felt by all.

The countdown to Christmas is on, with only a few days to go before we open, 11 days to be precise. Thanks goes to the Christmas team Val, Jon, Di, Melvin, Tracey, Sean, Neil, George and Ady who have helped to get the shop (which is looking fantastic) up and ready for Saturday 8 November. We can't wait to show you all the new goodies in store.

Diane and Jon have started to fill the shop with decorations and we are all getting excited at some of the stock we have seen so far and thought you would like to see them. For the first time we have imported genuinely handmade paper star decorations from Denmark and these have just been unpacked; they look fantastic!
