Artworks is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year!

With a reputation for its high standard and fresh contemporary work, Artworks seeks to excite and inspire with its new work in a wide range of media by 30 of East Anglia’s leading artists. Feast your senses on the abundance of paintings, prints, sculpture and installation art. DAILY DEMONSTRATIONS by artworks’ artists will provide added insights.

All  the work in the exhibition is for sale. Also a shop selling a good range of original work, prints and cards. Once again there will be the ever-popular mini artworks prize draw.

Artworks concert
Saturday 20 September 7pm.

To help us celebrate our 10th anniversary, we welcome, once again The Delightful Companions (Elizabeth Page recorder; Pam Munks violin; Jeremy Hughes cello; Philip Simms harpsichord), who last year gave us a highly spirited and engaging Baroque concert. This year, they will present a programme featuring Purcell and Handel, recreating a selection of their diverse repertoire during this, the 350th anniversary of Purcell’s birth and the 250th anniversary of Handel’s death.

There will also be an opportunity to view the Artworks exhibition on arrival and during the interval.

Artists Making an Exhibition
of Themselves
Saturday 26 September 6-9pm

An event when Artworks’ artists will set up temporary ‘studios’ in front of their work at the Artworks exhibition. A great hit with our visitors last year, many of the Artworks’ artists will once again be there to answer your questions, share their art and show how they do it.
