The famous magical Christmas experience is coming to Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham, Suffolk again this year, the 17th year running.

From Saturday 8 November visitors can once again step through the doors of the 16th century thatched barn, located in the heart of Suffolk, and be totally inspired by the festivities they see. Starting with a stunning selection of wonderful Christmas decorations and lighting in addition to the well known and perfectly British crafts market, offering beautiful gifts and treats for all, and the famous Rougham Estate Christmas trees, carefully nurtured throughout the year in plantations next to the barn, providing the perfect centre piece for over 6,000 homes every year.

Each and every craft represented within the market from Saturday 15 November is truly handcrafted in Britain, combining the finest quality, unique creativity and pure craftsmanship that is associated with British design, and a craft experience that is rarely found under one roof. With gifts to appeal to everyone whether looking for something delightful for a friend, a traditional family gift or a treat for someone special, the market is well worth a visit.

Whilst at the Barn, visiting the Decoration Shop is a must, open from Saturday 8 November, it has a huge selection of traditional and contemporary decorative pieces from hand-made garlands and tree decorations to gift wrap, crackers and stand alone decorations. The shop features the finest designs available internationally with a special focus on Scandinavia, so visitors are sure to see something completely different. Next door is the sparkling new Lighting Shop displaying everything to brighten up those wintry evenings with lights for the entire home as well as the Christmas tree. Being situated in the heart of Rougham Estate, many visitors also take the opportunity to purchase a Christmas tree. Having supplied the tree for 10 Downing Street on three occasions, visitors know they are getting the best quality trees, from award winning Blue Spruces to more traditional Norway Spruces and there are many others to choose from to meet individual preferences. From Saturday 29 November trees will be cut continually guaranteeing freshness. There is also a wide choice of pot grown trees available.

Whether you have a spare half hour or day, Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn will totally inspire all who visit.
