Blackthorpe Barn’s exciting new programme of events for 2009 will be launched on Friday 6 February.
Barn organiser George Agnew said: ‘I am so excited with what we have planned this year. We have something for almost everyone. Art exhibitions, concerts, drama, crafts exhibitions and demonstrations, Tribal textiles and of course our ever popular Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn to round the year off. We have been working on some events for years so it is a thrill finally seeing everything coming together! In our July International Summer Music Festival we have several faces completely new to Blackthorpe Barn including the wonderful Welsh pianist Llyr Williams and the Mexican guitarist Morgan Szymanski, both of whom are already hugely respected musicians internationally. We are so lucky to get them to come and play for us in the heart of Suffolk and we welcome back the world famous Belcea String Quartet who return by popular demand. We are also glad to welcome back The Eastern Angles Theatre Company who bring their new play Return to Akenfield by Craig Taylor in June and Artworks who will be celebrating their tenth anniversary this year with their September show. These events and many more will keep you entertained and informed from now through until Christmas.’
Full details of all the events con be found on the Blackthorpe Barn website at www.blackthorpebarn.com or in the free brochure which can be ordered by calling 01359 270091 or emailing events@blackthorpebarn.com
