Blackthorpe Barn Café Kiosk at Blackthorpe Barn
Indoor Café – 2021 dates and times to follow
Outside Kiosk – 2021 dates and times to follow
As part of the changes that are happening at the Barn this year, our much-loved café will not be able to open indoors. The crowds, lack of ventilation and social distancing make this impossible to achieve this year. Liz from Karat Catering has, however, come up with a brilliant solution. She is going to be serving takeaway hot drinks and 9 KARAT CAFE FAVOURITES, including hot bacon rolls, homemade soup, sausage rolls and not forgetting the mulled wine and mince pies from the kiosk in the courtyard, whenever the Barn is open for Click and Collect for the Country Christmas Shop, or selling Christmas trees. There will be some seating in the courtyard for those who cannot wait to start tucking in.
Liz is also offering a selection of Christmas food. 24 KARAT TREATS that you can now order via her web site www.karat-catering.co.uk, she has been featuring these items on her October Advent Calendar which you can see on Instagram @karatatblackthorpe or on her Facebook page @karatcatering. If you would like to place an order check out her web site for photos and information, all orders will be collection only from the takeaway kiosk at Blackthorpe Barn. You can also visit her at the Kiosk to discuss your order if that is more convenient.
If you do not have access to internet shopping, please call Liz on 0771 8273 733 or email Karat Catering. Items will need to be pre-ordered and paid for in advance and a collection date will be discussed.
She is already busy making some of her famous chutneys and pickles, as part of her preparations. When we first met Liz, she was selling these chutneys from a stall in our craft fair and anyone who tasted them then would still remember them now. They are fabulous!
She is very much looking forward to seeing you all and hopes that we can scatter a little of the Blackthorpe magic whilst you visit the barn.
Please note that the Kiosk will only take credit cards (no cash).
