Frequently Asked Questions

Which days do the crafts happen?
The crafts happen on Saturdays and Sundays only between 10am and 5pm. The dates of the six weekends fall in November and December. Please see the website for details.

Why are there no crafts during the weekdays?
Because the stalls at weekends are run by the makers themselves. When they are at a show like Blackthorpe Barn, they cannot make anything. The weekdays are usually the times when they make what they sell at weekends. This is the difference between a trader who sells things that she or he has bought in and a maker who physically has to make it themselves.

Are there the same craft stalls each weekend?
No, the stalls change considerably from week to week. The exact details are on this website.

Do you have to pay to get into the Crafts?
Yes. The charge is £3 per adult with OAPs paying £2. Students and children are free. There is a season ticket available for £10 giving admission to all twelve days of Crafts.

How do I apply for a craft stall?
Look for the craft section of the website. Fill in the form to express your interest, you must send images to be considered. The selection committee will let you know if you have been successful.

Is there a selection process for craft stalls applications?
Yes, a small committee looks at images for each applicant. If there are no images available the application sadly cannot be considered.
