Sculptor and Figure Maker

Christine Pike uses clay, jesmonite, paperclay and other sculpting materials to make figurative work that tells stories. Her love of British folktales and ballads has always informed her work. Her other lifelong fascination is with articulated dolls and marionette figures. Both of these passions feed into her work.

From one of a kind hand-sculpted pieces to small press moulded or cast editions her work reflects the worlds of myth and fairytale in all their ambiguity and strangeness…

The work on this page represents a selection of her range and styles. You will find work for immediate purchase on my Facebook page – please send her a friend request if you don’t want to miss out!
