Jewellery: Handcrafted unique pieces of contemporary jewellery by Shelley Watts

About eight years ago, fed up with mass produced jewellery, Shelley embarked on a silversmithing course. She enjoyed the course so much that she invested in further training to broaden her knowledge and her husband made her a small workshop. The rest, as they say, is history!

Shelley likes to make and design each piece individually so that it is unique, part of the enjoyment is to see each piece evolve. Her jewellery is not precise or perfectly tooled, she will leave that to the jewellery shops, but it is raw, bespoke and interestingly different. She uses sterling silver, often incorporating gold and copper detail and freshwater pearls. When necessary pieces are hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.
