MEET Abi Cochran, Silverspirals

Abi was taught by her grandmother Catherine ‘Casty’ Cobb who was a silversmith until she was in her 90s, encouraging and inspiring Abi until a few weeks before she died.

Abi is currently obsessed with weather-worn textures. She loves the delicate details found in burnt wood, split pieces of ply and microscopic lichens. . . they often resemble fantastic miniature landscapes – both challenging and fun to try and reproduce in jewellery form!
