MEET Tricia Taylor

Tricia’s work is mainly in silver, incorporating colour with stones and enamel. Colour is an important element of her work and she is interested in the concept of enamel as painting with glass, blending colours to create subtle variations of tone.

Her work includes screen printing onto panels, layering colours and creating textured finishes. Balancing solid forms with space and designing jewellery which catches the viewer’s attention is of great interest to Tricia. Drawing the audience towards the finer detail through texture, movement or colour is all part of the journey.

Achievements include a bursary from Goldsmith’s Hall, Second Prize for Body of Work from Goldsmith’s Hall 2007, the British Jewellers Enamelling Award 2007, and a nomination for the British Jewellery Association Student of the Year Award in 2007. Exhibitions include New Designers 2007, the Graduate Show at Studio Fusion, London, Primavera and Cambridge Open Studios.
