Art: Wildlife Artist and Iillustrator
Wendy Theobald is a wildlife artist and illustrator based in Suffolk. She studied art at Ipswich College and also art and design in West Yorkshire where she gained a BA Honours degree.
Living in the local countryside provides her with a strong connection to its wildlife and the surrounding habitat. Observation is an important aspect of her work. By using her sketchbooks and photographs she records nature as the seasons change. The form, colour, movement and patterns of the fauna, flora and landscape are the inspiration for her unique style.
Working in watercolours, watercolour pencil or pastel, her artwork is also available as prints and cards that can be purchased from her website WendyTheobald.com and her Etsy shop WendyTheobaldArt. You can also purchase her work from The Handmade shop and gallery in Bury St.Edmunds and The Brett Gallery in Brent Eleigh.
