Lino Print Christmas Cards (November)

with Helen Maxfield

Make Your Own Set of Lino Print Christmas Cards

£40 per person (aged 12+)

Come and learn imaginative ways of creating and printing Christmas cards, and varying your prints.

In this workshop you will create a set of lino print Christmas cards. Using a single piece of lino, Helen will show you easy, creative and imaginative ways of varying your prints with the use of selective inking, blended rolls and chine collé.

Work from your own ideas and reference material, or Helen can provide you with photos and templates to speed up the design stage.

Learn about safely using cutting tools, accurate registration technique and how to produce your final print. Demonstrations and individual guidance will be given along the way.

All materials (including a set of blank cards and envelopes), tools and equipment are provided, but you are welcome to bring any of your own. If you would like to prepare an image in advance, the dimensions of the lino will be roughly 10 x 10cm.
