Access to Blackthorpe Barn from A14

Blackthorpe Barn is situated just off Junction 45 of the A14 three miles east of Bury St Edmunds, in the village of Rougham. Most events are clearly signed by the AA, from the main A14 road. In addition the Blackthorpe Barn’s own black and white signs direct visitors from local roads.

We have ample space to park 380 cars on a hard surface and within easy walking distance of the barn. During the Crafts events and for those in 4x4s have the option to park on the field nearby. There is a separate car park for those who wish to load their car with their purchased Christmas tree.

Blackthorpe Barn is an ancient building with many uneven floors, so please take great care.

Disabled access

The Barn is fully accessible to wheelchair users and guide dogs are welcome.

We offer full toilet facilities including a disabled toilet and two baby changing tables.
